Marketing Manager Plus! New role for Summer 2011!! This role is now filled!

We have to admit that this exciting role did not exist six months ago but the serious arrival of Facebook and Twitter on the business and commercial scene, as well as our own marketing demands, means that we can combine two roles into one for a fascinating and challenging position.

You will probably have some experience of the business world from a marketing perspective and both understand and enjoy the challenge and opportunities that the internet offers businesses and organisations.  You will be meeting and talking to our clients about their business and so will need to be able to readily understand their requirements and business objectives.

You must be extremely numerate and literate with outstanding writing skills in UK written English and any other foreign languages, particularly European, would be an advantage.  You must be able to think outside the box to create interesting and readable comments, snippets and tweets. 

Your role would be in order of priority:

• Liaison with our existing clients and partners to ensure that they are happy with our overall service and we are doing everything right for them.  This would typically be by telephone/email with the occasional visit outside to the client's offices.
• Development and heading up of our social networking business for our clients and in particular looking after both Facebook and Twitter pages for them and developing relevant and sensible strategies.
• Nurturing of new business relationships as and when they arise from our existing network - both new clients and business partners

You would not be expected to do any cold calling or canvassing on our behalf as we generally have a ready and continuous stream of opportunities thanks to word of mouth recommendations.

From experience we would want you to come into our offices near Godalming and live within 30 minutes of Godalming - this role will not suit a homeworker.
