Improving Web Site Usability
The accessibility usability of a website is difficult to quantify but most people know how usable a site feels as to the degree of comfort they have in navigating around it and interacting with it.
Usability of sites can often be tested best in the following areas:
- Navigation - how easy is it to navigate a site and how easy is it to get lost
- Download Speed - each page within a site should be modest in size and download time
- Forms - forms should be minimal and easy to complete
- Text Size - text should be legible and not too tiny or too large
- Headings - divide the page into headings that are logical and helpful to the visitor
